The Avignon Festival App is committed to respecting your privacy. This page explains what data is collected and why, how long it is retained, what your rights are as a data subject, and how you can exercise them.
1. What data is collected?
Personal data is collected directly from data subjects or indirectly when using the app.
Identification data: last name, first name, title, mailing address, ZIP code, city, country, email address, phone numbers.
Login data: login ID (email address), encrypted password.
Transaction data: event, date, seat, price, number of tickets or items, purchase history, transaction ID, payment status, invoices issued.
Data related to price eligibility documentation: documents submitted to qualify for specific rates.
Technical data: IP address, data regarding the device, operating system, and application version, pages and content viewed, date and time of connection, data regarding application performance and security.
2. Purposes of Data Processing
Personal data is processed for the following purposes:
Ticket and sales management
Event-related information
Administrative and accounting management
Management of specific rates
Service improvement and security
3. Data retention period
Data is retained for between 13 months and 10 years depending on its nature, with payments managed securely by the service provider Verifone (PCI-DSS standard), and the Festival d'Avignon neither collects nor retains banking data.
4. Recipients or categories of recipients of the data
The data is accessible only to authorized Festival departments, technical service providers acting as subcontractors, and partners hosting the performances, for the purpose of ticket verification.
